Treat

Terms of Service

Last updated: April 12, 2026

Agreement

By using Treat, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

License

Treat gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, following Apple's App Store terms.

Not financial advice

Treat is a personal budgeting tool for informational purposes only. It is not financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or a substitute for consulting a qualified financial professional. You are responsible for your own financial decisions. We are not responsible for any outcomes based on how you use the app.

No warranties

Treat is provided "as is." We do our best to make it reliable, but we don't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or accurate. Budget calculations are based on what you enter — we can't verify that information.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Kate McGee is not liable for any damages arising from your use of Treat. This includes lost data, financial losses, or any indirect damages.

Your responsibilities

You agree not to misuse Treat — don't attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or use the app for anything illegal.

Termination

You can stop using Treat at any time by deleting the app. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

Third-party services

Treat uses Google Firebase to store your data and manage accounts. Your use of those services is also subject to Google's terms of service.

Apple

These terms are between you and Kate McGee, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Treat or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Treat. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Arizona. We may update these terms. If we do, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
